The Forum of Private Business announced this week that they would be supporting a campaign to raise awareness about the plight of pubs in the UK and to get as many people as possible involved in a potential government consultation.
The consultation will hopefully stop the big pub companies abusing their landlords by making them purchase beer at vastly inflated prices. Pubs are closing up and down the country right now so any help that the landlords can receive as small business owners would be helpful. By supporting the consultation you are making it more likely that the government will go ahead with legislation.
A pub code adjudicator might be what is needed to help stop all these closures, so head over the FPB now to find out more about it.
