Many people just starting out on social media can find the lack of interaction disheartening and they might feel like they are just shouting into a void where nobody is listening.
But there are a few things you can do to try and encourage interaction. Carefully choose the time of the day that you post status updates and also be selective about the day too – according to the infographic there is increased engagement with brands on Saturday and Sunday (perhaps because there is less marketing in general over the weekend?) and much less on Wednesday and Thursday.
