You might have your own opinion about why your products and services are great and how they will improve the lives of your customers, but unless they feel it is something they need then they won’t buy it.

This means that your marketing has to be entirely catered to the benefits that potential customers believe that they will get when purchasing from your business, rather than what you know that they will appreciate and love in reality once they own it.
