“I can’t tell you the number of times that I meet with Internet entrepreneurs or executives, and how little theory they have, and how little cognitive behaviour they seem to exhibit about what it is they are doing.” – Jay S. Walker, US entrepreneur.
Even if you don’t have a formal business education, that’s not really an excuse for having no knowledge about the traditions and theory of business. You can really learn a lot about business just by reading the right books. Sometimes this knowledge will have even more impact because you are willingly learning it, rather than having it forced upon you.
Head to the local library and pick up some books on business theory or start simple with some autobiographies of successful entrepreneurs. You might be surprised about what you learn!
