But that doesn’t seem to mattter; all that matters is that the information comes from a reputable source.” – Joseph Heller, US novelist
That quote from Heller is actually forty years old but it is actually extremely prescient today, perhaps even more so.
It might seem obvious, but if you are making vital business decisions then it is your responsibility to check that the data you are using is not worthless.
If your decision is wrong based on incorrect data, it’s no use blaming the data. The buck will ultimately stop with you and that’s why you need to make the effort to do your own research.
