UK online retailers on course for another record-breaking year


Some positive news now for anyone who wasn’t happy with the UK Budget. Online retail in the UK is set to grow by a further 12% in 2013, fuelled by the insatiable British desire for online bargains.

According to this report on based on research by the IMRG (the UK’s online retail association), the UK is expected to spend £87bn online this year – up from an already impressive £78bn last year.

This just goes to show that the only way for small businesses to survive on the High Street these days is to adapt and survive by incorporating online sales into their business model.
