And Technorati's "Please excuse us!" is from late September!

I've tried e-mailing, faxing, and posting in the forums, and have had no response. Looking at the forums shows that Technorati is offering utterly haphazard support: for every reply that promises to reindex someone's blog, there must be a dozen or more requests that go unanswered, often from users who have posted to the same thread.

I agree, I've had ZERO customer service. They HAVE NEVER REPLIED TO ONE EMAIL. I'm new to the blogging world being only a few months in but I'm very surprised by how poorly they seem to run things. My tags often do not work, I have had nothing but trouble signing on to my profile and they keep saying that they're sending me my password and they are not [not in SPAM folder either]. It's ridiculous! Isn't there another site that offers what technorati SAYS they offer but that actually works?

I find it interesting that Wordpress dropped technorati from the admin panel. When you upgrade to the latest version you will now notice Google blogsearch is used to display links rather then technorati. A useful feature of blogsearch is the email feature. I get notification of when other bloggers link to some of my content.

That link is where it would link to for your blog Stefan.

John, I am beginning to think you are right.

I've been having problems with technorati since the word go and then blogger friends told me that technorati was very "temperamental".

I've long since given up on Technorati ever working. A quick Google shows the same problems occurring over and over again going back several years.

I think it's ripe for a competitor:
