I have to add the advantages of reducing costs (especially for e-commerces) by optimizing times and having the working force concentrated in the same place; costs reduction that leads to price reduction, which at the same time leads to more competitiveness. From a non commercial point of view, I must say that there is –on my behalf- a bit of nostalgia, specially when I see the massive gap between old generations and new ones yet we must be grateful that the Internet Revolution has been a pacific one, unlike many others (I am thinking not only about French, Russian, Cuban, Mexican, Chinese, etc, but also to more technical ones such as the Industrial Revolution which’s forms of violence may be more indirect but not less of a reality). The vignettes of things that frustrate you –and many others- about the Internet are –from a historical revolution crux of analysis- normal: any change will bring the good the bad and the ugly yet, I am optimistic and believe that through out the years these issues that you pointed out are going to be worked upon and –from a realistic and historical perspective- we may be facing with new issues as well as new advantages.
