The HMRC is currently rolling out a new programme aiming to review the accuracy of financial recordkeeping of businesses all across the UK. If you have neglected your business records then it is possible that you could be liable for a large fine.
To help businesses avoid any potential penalties and also improve the standard of general financial management and cashflow in the SME sector, the International Association of Bookkeepers (IAB) in conjunction with Lloyds TSB are offering a FREE seminar tomorrow in London.
The following speakers will lead the discussion:
· Richard Hainsworth, Abbey Tax – will discuss the Business Records Checks which were piloted earlier this year in eight key areas, and involve checks on the adequacy of small and medium-sized enterprises business records.
· Janet Jack FIAB MIAAP – will describe the benefits of good record keeping
· Ian Irwin FIAB – will discuss the merits of good financial management and improving cashflow.
