Cloud computing, your business and your customers – the four things you need to know

Many of you will know that the founder of this blog Stefan Töpfer, founded and is steadily building, Winweb, a cloud computing firm.

I have known Stefan for a while now after I interviewed him for a book, Rare Business (you can buy a copy here) that I wrote in 2010.

Since then I have had the privilege of getting to know Stefan better and have learnt more about Winweb and what he is trying to build.

One of the things that Winweb does that makes them stand out is that they no longer offer free trials. Unlike other (cloud) software firms they realise that, although, offering free trials can seem attractive, it doesn’t really help many customers.

I’m sure you’ve signed up for a free trial of a new piece of software and you’ve logged on and had a look around but just couldn’t or didn’t know where to get started. Been there?

What they have learned is that one of the keys to adoption of a new system is getting people started and allowing them and their team to see the new system in action with their business’ data. Thus, making their whole trial experience more real.

Their approach is different and it’s working.

Also, they are working in partnership with people like myself to help businesses better understand their system, get the most out of it and supplement it with other services.

So, if you have been thinking about the benefits of cloud computing for your business or, thinking about moving from a legacy system but don’t know where to start, we are running a couple of webinars on the 18th July on Cloud computing, your business and your customers – the four things you need to know.

In this short 30 minute webinar with live Q&A, we will cover:

  • The changing business world around us
  • Why being more customer focused is more important than ever before
  • What you should be doing about it today; and
  • When it comes to cloud computing, the 4 criteria that will help drive and ensure the long term success of your business.

You can sign up for the webinar here or you can arrange a no-obligation and complimentary demo of Winweb’s range of cloud software and services here.
