Cloud Computing has been around for a long time now, but misconceptions still persist about it. Many of these misconceptions only persist because of inaccurate reporting in the media.
I’ve just read a useful article on Business2Community that highlights some of the misconceptions that I’ve heard (and I’m still hearing) whenever I speak to people about the Cloud.
Things like “It’s a fad” (Google, Amazon and Apple would disagree), it’s not secure enough for business use (try telling this to someone who lost all their business data in the past because of a computer crash) or it’s only for big companies (all of my microbiz clients using WinWeb Business Cloud apps will tell you this simply isn’t true!).
