A recent poll by The Washington Post and ABC News found that for the second year running, Google is more liked than both Apple and Facebook.
Based on a random survey of 1,007 adults, Google (83% approval) was 11% more popular than Apple (72% approval) and 23% more popular than Facebook (60% approval).
These totals barely changed from the survey in the previous year. Apple dropped slightly from 74%, while Google and Facebook increased a tiny amount from 82% and 58% respectively.
Facebook performed very strongly among young respondents aged 18-29 with favourable ratings outweighing unfavourable by 3-1.
It certainly seems like Google’s “Do No Evil” approach pays off well for them in terms of being liked. Which one is your favourite?
