This quote is by US financial consultant William Adams. He makes a great point in that some of the most successful business ventures come from mistakes.
Even the mighty Steve Jobs made mistakes. When he bought Pixar he originally envisioned them as the next great hardware company and never expected them to make money from animated films, but to his great credit he allowed the business to go in that direction.
That is the hallmark of truly remarkable leadership.
