This quote was by the visionary former Apple CEO Steve Jobs and he was making a valid point about businesses, particularly those in the technology industry.
It is always great to come up with cool and interesting concepts for a product, but it is even more important for you to actually deliver that finished product to the consumer and start making money on it.
You need to strike a balance between being able to release your product within a reasonable time-frame as the best possible version of that product, rather than waiting until you have achieved total perfection.
This is good advice that applies to anything you might be working on, no matter whether it is a novel, a song, a film or a small business.
