Commuting – Quote of the Week

Commuting – Quote of the Week

“Commuter – one who spends his life in riding to and from his wife; a man who shaves and takes a train, and then rides it back to shave again.” – E.B. White (1899-1985) US writer.

Does that sound familiar to you? Many of us spend a total of several weeks every year and thousands of pounds just commuting to and from work. The most annoying part is that for most of us, travelling to work is no longer even necessary.

Teleworking is perfectly adequate for the majority of workers and with the savings that can be made for many companies it is perhaps surprising that not every business offers it as an option.

Have you give up the commute yet?
