“Most executives have learned that what one postpones, one actually abandons… timing is a most important element in the success of any effort. To do five years later what would have been smart to do five years earlier, is almost a sure recipe for frustration and failure.” – Peter F. Drucker, US management consultant.
A critical element in business is timing. The trick is not to be too late to the party and also not to be so far ahead of the market that you end up confusing your audience with a product or service that they aren’t quite ready for.
Of course, a lot of elements involved in this process are out of your control so often you can only give it your best shot and hope the market is ready for you.
